# How to pay using your account balance

## If you have credit on your account, you can use it as a payment method at checkout. Here's how it works

### Using your account balance at checkout

Your account balance can be applied to eligible purchases made through the Client Portal. Follow these steps:

1. [Log in](https://client.rapidformations.co.uk/login/) to your account
2. Add the service or product you wish to purchase to your cart
3. Proceed to checkout
4. At the payment stage, select 'Account Balance' as your payment method
5. Complete your order as normal

If your account balance covers the full cost of your order, no additional payment will be required.

If your balance isn’t enough to cover the full amount of the order, you’ll need to make a [Payment on Account](https://client.rapidformations.co.uk/payment-on-account/) first to ensure the exact funds are available.

💡 When adding a payment on account, a recommended balance of £40.00 will be shown. You can edit this to the amount you wish to add.

### Checking your account balance

You can view your current account balance at any time on the right-hand side of your [Customer Dashboard.](https://client.rapidformations.co.uk/account/)
